An access log features a record of all files that have been requested by the visitors while surfing around your website. The list is thorough, so if you have a web page with two embedded images, for example, all of the three files shall be in the log, not just the page. An access log normally contains the date, the Operating System, the Internet browser and the IP address for each file in human-readable form, so you can get a more complete picture about the hottest files on your website. The log, that is also often referred to as "raw data", is an addition to the web stats you typically get with a hosting account, not an alternative. An illustration why you could need such a log is if you would like to use some software on your PC to prepare a report about the website’s general performance, but you do not want to use the standard graphs and tables which come with the server-generated site statistics.

Access Log Manager in Cloud Hosting

If you choose one of our cloud hosting packages, you will receive thorough access logs for all of your websites. After you sign in to your Hepsia CP, you should check out the Access/Error Logs section where you will see a thorough list of the domain names and subdomains which you have added or created inside the web hosting account. You will simply need to click on the On button, that's found on the right-hand side of each hostname and our cloud platform will start generating logs at once. To disable this function, you'll need to follow the same exact steps and click on the Off button. The domains and subdomains can be handled separately and whenever you want. You can find a download link inside the Logs section of the CP for any log generated by our system, so you're able to save the file to your laptop or computer and view it or use it with some log processing software.
